You're Bored

What do you do to pass the time?

You live on the East Coast, USA. It's Saturday, a little after 11am. You slept in and have no plans, but the sun is shinning, birds are singing, and... you're hungry. You get dressed and make your first decision of the day.

You are standing on the sidewalk outside your apartment. Your apartment complex is actually pretty nice. There's lots of trees, a little stream that runs throughout with a couple bridges, a small playground. You know Wawa is a few blocks down the main road. You have your keys, phone, and wallet.

You decide to walk to the playground. It's just across the bridge. There's a mom and her kid sitting on the swings. The swings are the best part. Maybe you can come back later.

It is a nice day outside. You lean over the railing and look at the water. It's a shallow, lazy stream, rushing only in a few select places where it bubbles over stones under the surface. You linger for a minute and take a picture on your phone. Proof you left the house, not that you're proving it to anyone but yourself. That's good though. You like taking pictures out in nature. It's a hobby you're trying to lean into more. Anyway, you should probably keep moving.
